About

Code is cheap. Show me production.

I spent my early days chasing architecture for architecture's sake - dogmatic Clean Architecture, layers of redundant abstractions, and interfaces that existed only to prove a pattern. I built systems that looked pristine in diagrams but choked under reality.

Writing boilerplate to serve dogma taught me what Terry Davis meant: "An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity". I stopped designing to impress and started optimizing for boring. The fewer moving parts an architecture has, the longer it holds. Clean schemas, resilient boundaries, interfaces that stay legible, and the right tool for the workload over the trend.
